The item up for bid is a stone mint example of an original ww1 marine corps campaign hat complete with an ega or eagle globe and anchor. This hat is a size 7 1/4 and came directly from the ww1 veterans estate by a friend of mine. I will be posting several items from this estate including his ww1 uniform. I will provide the owners name to each lot i sell. I will sell his white top dress hta as one lot and the uniform coat as another lot as well as a 1924 dated veteran's photo of several marines from ww1. This hat is stone mint and only has minor storage dust that i wiped off. There is no moth tracks at all or no holes period. The campaign hat has the rolled edge to the brim of the hat which only marine corps hat have unlike the straight cut edge of the us army hats.
