Ww1 British Tank Brodie Helmet

A ww1 british tanker's brodie helmet (or cruise helmet). The helmet is in fantastic condition with 95% of the original, early apple green paint still remaining. It retains both original leather chinstrap and early model, six leaf oilskin liner. To the front of the helmet is a chain mail mesh, this is some times referd to as a splatter guard and is designed to protect the wearer from ricashades of bullets and shrapnel. These helmets are the rarest fo all first world war british combat helmets and is a must for any serious collector!
