Us Wwi Winchester Bayonet Model 1917 Enfield PatternAll original u. S. World war i model 1917 enfield bayonte & scabbard made by winchester. Bayonet blade si stamped with u. S. And flaming bomb on one side near cross guard. Other side of bayonet is stamped 1917 with w inside circle (for the winchester arms company). Please enlarge auction photos for best review. Bayonet measures almost 22 inches in length from base of handle to tip of blade. Bayonet. & blade show normal wear and use for age. Blade is clean and has. Been sharpened by the military. Cross guard shows signs of rust with. Some aresa of pitting (will clean up). Wood handle has chipped area naer bayonet release button. Please see auction photos. Included is the original scabbard (leather? ) painted. Green with brass fasteners for web belt. Scabbard alos shows normal. Wear & use ofr age. Great addition to any u. S.
