Fantastic German Ww1 Swordsaber Well Marked No ReserveI am selling this item for a friend of mine who has been collecting militaria for decades, and in his own wordsvet bought this summer! The vet had two swords exactly. Alike. He said he had them both hanging over his fireplace. They. Were both in the same excellent condition ofr their age. I sold one of them to a. Friend, and this one i am listing this auction is for one sword only, the one shown in the photos. There are unit numbers 5 rr 10.56 on the scabbard and i believe they are. To a reiter regiment, as this is a cavalry sword from ww1 or perhaps earlier. I have not. Cleaned it at all. Ist exactly the way i got it and it is in very good condition for its age. Blueing on the scabbard and the blade is very clean as well. tI has storage grease color on. The blade which will clean up great i am sure. I have seen several of these over the 30+. Years of my collecting and this is the cleanest one i haev seen so far.
